Greetings from GGf, an NGO dedicated to the cause of protecting cattle, nurturing and sheltering injured, old, sick,abandoned and rescued cattle.

We are instrumental in filing more than 60 FIR's till date and saving thousands of cattle from slaughter. Further to our write petition 1261/2014, the High Court has asked us to approach the government to form a Special Task Force (STF) to curb the illegal trafficking of cattle in Karnataka. We intend to get the voice of the people of Karnataka across the government via an opinion poll which we have created specially for the purpose ans we solicit your support in filling up the same and aiding our mission of speedening up the process of setting up STF.

Karnataka is blessed with world famed breeds of cows like Amruthmahal, Harlikar, Malnad Gidda, Devani, etc. However, no attempt has been made to protect them. In fact, the cattle is mercilessly transported of APMC yards every day and on the strength of false Health Certificates issued by the Animal Husbandry Dept., travel right infront of the glaring eyes of the R.T.O. Police, APMC officials and check posts to slaughter houses. Most perish in the vehicles itself due to suffocation caused because of overloading and starvation. Laws and rules are openly flouted with the connivance of government officials. Trucks are overloaded to the tune of ten times the permissible limits and transported to Kerala, Andra, Maharashtra & Goa, all with the tacit assent of authorities.

It is our responsibility to save our prized cattle and prevent crimes and atrocities on them. We urge you to join hands with us to stop all animal related crime with the creation of a Special Task Force. We request your support to compleat the survey to further the cause.

ಗೋ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ, ವಯಸ್ಸಾದ, ರೋಗಗ್ರಸ್ತ, ತಿರಸ್ಕೃತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಗೋ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರೇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಜಿ.ಜಿ.ಎಫ್ ನ ಶುಭಾಷಯಗಳು.

ಇದುವರೆಗೂ 60 ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ವರದಿಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಸಹಸ್ರಾರು ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ನಾವು ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಮುಂದುವರೆದು ನಮ್ಮ ರಿಟ್ ಪಿಟಿಷನ್ 1261/2014 ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಉಚ್ಛ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಗೋ ಹತ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನವನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ರಚಿಸಿರುವ ಜನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಇಡೀ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನತೆಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲು ನಾವು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆ ರಚನಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಧ್ಯೇಯೋದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ವಿಶ್ವ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಅಮೃತಮಹಲ್, ಹರ್ಲಿಕರ್, ಮಲ್ನಾಡ್ ಗಿಡ್ಡ, ದೇವನಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಗೋ ತಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೂಜನೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ದುರದೃಷ್ಟವಶಾತ್, ಅವುಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವೂ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ವಾಸ್ತವವಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೂರಾರು ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಮಾನವೀಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಪಶುಸಂಗೋಪನೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯವರು ನೀಡುವ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಜಾರೋಷವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಪೊಲೀಸ್, ಎ.ಪಿ.ಎಂ.ಸಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಕುಕ್ಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೆಕ್ ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಸಾಯಿಖಾನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಿತಿ ಮೀರಿದ ಹೊರೆ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿವಿನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಉಸಿರುಗಟ್ಟಿದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಹಸುಗಳು ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಸುನೀಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮೌನ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅನುಮತಿ ಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಹತ್ತರಷ್ಟು ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಹೊರೆಯಿಂದ ಟ್ರಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಂಧ್ರ, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಕೇರಳ, ಗೋವಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾನುವಾರುಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪೈಶಾಚಿಕ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ. ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆಯ ರಚನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಒತ್ತಾಯಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೋರಿಕೆ. ಈ ಸದುದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಲು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿನಂತಿ.
